Dr Melanie Brown

Dr Melanie Brown is Director and Senior Conductor of the National Institute for Conductive Education.

I first met Mel in 2006 when I went for my initial consultation after my stroke. She was instrumental in my recovery such that I was able (18 months later) to resume my independent life.

I contacted her again in 2012 when I had decided to participate in Clipper 13-14 and to raise funds for the Institute. She was delighted.

Then, when I failed my Level 1 training in September, she put in place a programme to improve my balance.
