Sorry for the slight interruption!
Normally I try to publish a new blog post once every three days. Sometimes it ends up being slightly more or slightly less frequent, but I think it has been six days since my last one.
That’s because someone stole my last “Where am I going?” post.
I’m not going to give them the satisfaction of naming them, or linking to them.
Initially I was puzzled then flattered but now, well, angry. It’s my work. My time. Not theirs. They have no right. There is no context to the post when it appears, unattributed and without permission, on another website. It is theft.
So first I had to find out what and how it had happened.
Then I have been spending the time I normally would spend creating new posts investigating copyright and licensing and what I can do to help prevent future occurrences.
So you will see a copyright notice at the bottom of each page of anitasailsagain.com. Each post also contains the copyright notice. You may also notice a change if you see the RSS feed. This now only shows summary not the full text.

Thanks Kate, I don’t think of myself as particularly brave; it’s just one of those things I have to do.
I hope you enjoy finding out about the race as it develops.
